El viernes 20 de abril, en el seno del festival de Cine de Málaga, la directora Mercedes Sánchez Vico, docente en el IES Eduardo Janeiro, presentó en el Ateneo de la capital su documental coeducativo LAS EDUCADORAS, en el que se visibiliza la labor y los proyectos educativos de ocho mujeres para educar por y para la igualdad.
Gema Otero, Ana Hevilla, Paqui Méndez, Pilar Jurado, Virginia Rodríguez, Pilar Triguero, Rocío Carmona Horta y Carmen Ruiz son las voces que se escuchan en esta primera entrega del documental. La segunda, se estrenará el próximo otoño, con otras ocho grandes educadoras que trabajan para transformar el mundo a través de la coeducación y la pedagogía feminista. En ambas se ha contado con la colaboración especial del gran actor Juan Diego, que da voz a los versos de la poeta andaluza Teresa Martín.
"El documental visibiliza el trabajo y los proyectos coeducativos de mujeres que luchan por una educación por y para la igualdad, son proyectos muy innovadores en los que ellas son pioneras y están rompiendo barreras", explica la directora de la cinta. Directoras de orquesta, sexólogas, docentes y escritoras comparten la tarea de educar "para transformar la sociedad actual, buscar un mundo mejor por justo e igualitario empoderando a la mujer", como comenta Sánchez Vico
Esta primera parte se ha grabado en el Instituto Concha Méndez de Torremolinos, elegido por llevar el nombre de una de las grandes poetas de la Generación del 27, y en el conservatorio Manuel Carra. En este último espacio se rodó el himno contra la violencia de género que ha compuesto la soprano y directora de orquesta Pilar Jurado para el Proyecto Educativo de Igualdad Género que lidera Mercedes Sánchez Vico.
El documental se estrenó en Sevilla en el Festival de Cine Andaluz "Pisando fuerte desde el Sur". Es ya largo el recorrido que lleva desde que se proyectó por primera vez en febrero, siendo muy solicitado por organismos públicos y privados. Próximamente visitará la Universidad de Málaga, concretamente se podrá ver en el Salón de Actos de la facultad de Educación,el día 16 de mayo a las 12,00 de la mañana. Antes irá a tierras jiennenses, donde se proyectará en un acto organizado por la Diputación Provincial de la capital.También se proyectará en varios CEPs de varias provincias andaluzas en el seno de jornadas coeducativas e igualmente, se realizará su presentación para ser visionado en bastantes centros educativos. En verano comenzará su recorrido fuera de las fronteras de nuestra autonomía, visitando entre otras, las Universidades de Alicante y Valencia.
